Privacy Policy

What data we collect

Beebo's Control Ward collects the following data in order to provide its functionality:

• Discord user IDs — to associate your Discord account with your linked Riot account.
• Discord server (guild) IDs — to generate server-specific leaderboards and manage bot configuration per server.
• Riot account identifiers — including PUUID, summoner name, tagline, and region, used to fetch data from Riot's API on your behalf.
• Match history data — fetched from Riot's API and cached temporarily to reduce redundant API calls.
• Command usage metadata — which commands are used and how often, stored in aggregate for improving the bot.

Why we collect it

All data we collect is used solely to provide the bot's core functionality: linking accounts, looking up player statistics, generating leaderboards, and checking live game information. We also use anonymous aggregate usage statistics to understand how the bot is used and where to make improvements.

What we do not collect

We do not read, store, or process the content of your Discord messages, voice data, or any Discord content beyond the slash command interactions directed at the bot. The bot only accesses the Discord permissions it needs to function — reading messages in channels where it is invoked and sending responses.

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to any third parties. Your data is stored on our own server infrastructure and is only accessed to provide bot functionality.

Data storage and caching

Persistent data (Discord IDs, Riot account links) is stored in a database on our server infrastructure. Match history and live game data fetched from Riot's official API is cached temporarily to reduce the number of API calls and improve response times. This cached data is automatically purged after a short period.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time. Using the /unlink command will remove the association between your Discord account and your Riot account from our database. If you need further assistance with data deletion, contact us at contact@example.com.

Riot Games

This application uses Riot Games' official API to retrieve player data. Beebo's Control Ward is not endorsed by Riot Games and does not reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
